Response 9.x (Build 4030 and 4030a) Upgrade Instructions 5/23/2008

IMPORTANT NOTES!
        - Response 7.x/8.x users cannot install this update.  You must first upgrade to 9.x.
        - You must be on build 4029 or any 4030 Release, Beta or RC version to install 4030a.

On the server:

Important: please follow these instructions fully to make sure you have the most up-to-date version.

 1. Get everyone out of Response.

 2. Do a full backup (***VERY IMPORTANT***) of your SQL database
    AND the following directories in "...\colinear\r4w":
	- data
	- programs

 3. Download and unzip the file:
    http://www.colinear.com/download/r9/4030a_Update.zip
        4030_Update.zip contains:
                Response.vd7
                Data4030.Zip

 4. Copy "Response.vd7"  to "...\colinear\r4w\programs"

 5. Extract data4030.zip to "...\colinear\r4w\data" (be careful to extract to the specified folder)

 6. Run the utility program "chgfiles.vd7" **
     In Windows Explorer, go to the \r4w\data directory and double-click on
     chgfiles.vd7 to run it.  A login box will appear when it first starts.
     Enter the required information and click 'Ok.'  This program may take
     a while to run.

 7. Start Response by using your normal shortcut to make sure that everything is working properly.
    Your build label should now read "Response 9.1 - Build 4030a"
