Response 9.x (Build 4026) Upgrade Instructions 3/19/07

IMPORTANT NOTES!
        - Response 7.x/8.x users cannot install this update.  You must first upgrade to 9.x.
        - You must be on build 4025 or any 4026 Beta version to install 4026.

On the server:

Important: please follow these instructions fully to make sure you have the most up-to-date version.

 1. Get everyone out of Response.

 2. Do a full backup (***VERY IMPORTANT***) of your SQL database
    AND the following directories in "...\colinear\r4w":
	- data
	- programs

 3. Download and unzip the file:
    http://www.colinear.com/download/r9/4026_Update.zip
        4026_Update.zip contains:
                Response.vd7
                Data4026.Zip

 4. Copy "Response.vd7"  to "...\colinear\r4w\programs"

 5. Extract data4026.zip to "...\colinear\r4w\data" (be careful to extract to the specified folder)
        Data4026.zip contains:
          division.int
          Filelist.cfg
          inventor.int
          multipay.int
          attrset.int
          buygroup.int
          cathead.int
          chgfiles.VD7
          contsel.int
          contslct.int
          custbgrp.int
          custcont.int
          wosetup.int
          RevenueByVendor.rpt
          contpay.int

 6. Run the utility program "chgfiles.vd7" **
     In Windows Explorer, go to the \r4w\data directory and double-click on
     chgfiles.vd7 to run it.  A login box will appear when it first starts.
     Enter the required information and click 'Ok.'  This program may take
     several minutes to run.

 8. Start Response by executing the Response.vd7 and test to make sure that everything is working properly.
